What is Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs?

“Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs” is a European mobility scheme run by the European Union that allows new or aspiring entrepreneurs to get a first-hand, practical coaching and mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs running small and medium-size enterprises.

The stay can last between one and six months and gives the participants the opportunity to develop relevant skills for managing and expanding their own ventures and developing new commercial relations. In addition, it is an opportunity to learn more about the way an enterprise is run in another European country.

The Erasmus for Y.E. is financed by the EU and involves the 28 member countries plus other 9 countries (Albania, Island, Israel, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia and Turkey).

How is YES for Europe involved?

The programme operates with the help of intermediary organisations competent in business support, coordinated EUROCHAMBRES, which currently holds the role of Support Office.

Since 2016, Yes for Europe has been officially included amongst the intermediary organisations (IO).

This is an important acknowledgement for our Confederation and we look forward to connecting New Young Entrepreneurs (NE) with Host Entrepreneurs (HE) around Europe.
